Bird Park experience. LoVe It!

Assalamualiakum....:)

For this entry, i will share with u my experiences at KL Bird Park. Ok, the story begins when the head teacher at my working place decided to go for a trip to KL Bird Park on 8/3/2012. It was drizzling in the morning and we thought that we had to cancel the trip as there was no sign for the rain to stop (Teacher Asma' even planned to go to the museum instead of the bird park, aha.....??). The children even started to ask: "when will the bus starts moving teacher?" after tired of waiting in the bus and i had to make a foolish excuse i could say, as i told them that there's insufficient fuel and the bus driver had to fuel up the bus first before we could start our journey......duhhh! (i know there're thousands of other excuses i could came up with but...but....but...naaaah! past is past!) Alhamdulillah the rain stopped when we started to make a move, and the sun came out shinning the world, lighting the darkness, showing us the right path to KL Bird Park. (exaggeration here people!)

NOT a pretty(perasan!) side of me lah.
Kuku burung hantu tu tajam kowt! =>
Alhamdulillah, we finally arrived at 11.(something) am after much of difficulties. The children were totally excited! (even entering the bus in the first place was something that could trigger their excitement actually. They don't need Bird Park or anything else, but a BUS......seriously!). When we arrived, we were welcomed by a guide who introduced himself as Abg Handsome (short name) or also can be called as Abg Very Handsome (full name)....duhhh! (padahal Faizal is his actual name =_='). He guided us throughout our visit there. He even told us a very interesting fact. He told the kids that burung jantans are prettier than the female so that they can mengorat the burung betinas....(sorry for the improper used of language here...). We stopped at a station where they exhibited the birds outside the cage and Abg Faizal took an owl and showed it to us. Then, he asked one of the teachers to try and hold the bird, andddd, guess what??? I'm THE LUCKY one! As I'm the youngest among the teachers, so it will naturally be me lah of course. (other teachers doing their part by pushing me to the front....thank you very much lah teachers. =,=)

Pang Wai Yan and The Bird.
it really does exist okay...
The curious ones...:)
Later on, other teachers pun join sama pegang. :) Because the owl is too heavy for the children, Abg Faizal took a cute white parrot for them to hold. What's funny was that the children were braver than me in handling the bird.....duhhh! Then, we continued our journey to The Lair of Parrots! (*classical music playing with shinning light on*) Ok, i exagerrate a bit...but! It could be called The Lair of Parrots though! There were parrots everywhere! The funny part was that the parrots kept on standing on my head! duhh! At first, i was like "aaa, help me! help me!" (annoying kowt!), then later on, because of too many parrots kept on standing on my head, i was just like "pfffttt! what ever!". Some of the students cried as they were scared of the birds around but many were having sweet times being surrounded by a bunch of colorful eye-catching birds.
All and all, it was a fun experience lah being surrounded by that number of parrots. (although the worker in charge played fool on us as he kept on making the birds fly to us.....duhh!!).

i told yaaa...
Then, we were entertained with bird shows prepared by KL Bird Park. It was fascinating to see how clever the birds were although the tricks were all the same no matter where you go. Rising up flag, spinning in a reel, fly through the audiences, throwing dumps into the dustbin, and so on. (i think they should come up with new tricks lah instead of repeating the same old tricks....huhu. it's just my opinion though. =>) Something happened during the performance when one of the bird was not in the mood i could say as it refused to do the trick it should. Well, everyone has their time lah, even birds are not exceptional. hehe. After the show, it was time to go back. The children were not exhausted YET. They were still running around and playing at the compound while we waited for the bus to come. When we boarded the bus, in the blink of the eyes, the children entered the shut-down mode (although some of them were not affected by the tiredness and kept on making noises in the bus..........well, they are children lah.)
after The Trip.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

That's all for now, tata titi tutu....Assalamualaikum. :)

experience is the best Teacher. :)

Assalamualaikum....:)

As the title of this entry, this time i want to share with u guys my experience as a teacher (although as a kindergarten teacher jeee...=_=, but still, a teacher juga kan?) heheh. Had u guys ever wonder, why the teachers always ask the students to be quiet during lessons? " kenapa cikgu x suka bila bising dalam kelas eah?" this kind of thought must had gone through your mind before right? or......not? Ok, frankly speaking, even i had never thought of it before, just during writing this entry i made up the sentence. =_='.....duhhh! Well, that's not the main point here. What i'm trying to say is that, teachers are always hoping for the students to at least learn something from them. Even small things are counted. Even simple things as ABC and 123...........or, maybe it's just me that wanted my students to learn the ABC and 123 because these things are in their syllabus....? heheh. ;) I always wondered if my students ever learnt anything from me or not as they always disturb me during the lessons (buka pembalut gula2 or wanna go for 'shishi' always get in the way! sometimes, i even hope the gula2 could unwrapped itself....*ok, tipu je part pembalut gula2 boleh terbuka sendiri tu!). These things always get in the way as the children could not do it themselves and i'm the one who could save their day.....(okay, bajet superhero di sini...!)

Some student get attached to some teacher. Yang ni yang selalu kita panggil 'anak emas cikgu'. These kind of students that always get teased by their friends with the saying: ''ala, awk kan anak kesayangan cikgu, cikgu x marah punya lah!". Frankly speaking, i do get attached to some of my students. It's not that i wanted to, but it justs naturally happened. This thing happened actually as some of the students behaved well, or they're just basically special in the teacher's eyes. As the saying goes, the apple of the eye, it's like picking an apple lah, you will definitely go for the best right? (actually, any fruits pun we'll pick the best one, not just apples....duhh!) But the characteristic to be the ''apple of the eye'' is vary. It does not depend on the physical characteristics only, x semestinya awk cantik, pandai, you'll be the apple of the eye. For me, i get attached to my students that get attached to me first(but there're some that i get attached to first. heheh :p). So, don't be jealous over someone who has special bond to the teachers lah because basically, whether or not you are attached to the teacher, the teachers always wanted the best for the all the students. This is some of what my experience had taught me lah. Being a kindergarten teacher is such a fun experience for me and had opened my eyes to so many things as, by being what i am now, i happened to be friend with those of the age of my mom and get the feeling of a different world. (totally DIFFERENT!! =_=') Not only that, i also get to be friend with those of different races, ada Melayu, Cina, n India (muhibah habis ok!) that i never had the chance to be friend with before, as all of my friends are 100% Malay. : ) Well, this is all for now.

Assalamualaikum........:)

Assalamualaikum.... :)
To appreciate all the reactions from my friends regarding me starting to blog,  i write this entry specially for u guys! Haha, mcm2 reaction yg ade kot! Yg da follow tu, thanks korang! :) Tak kurang jugak buat yg gelak tu, thanks jugak (terima kasih Ahmad Syahir! -.-). Regardless of all the reaction, no matter what, you guys are the best friends i ever had! I heard a saying before but i  forgot who quoted it, it's something that goes like this "kalau nak tahu peribadi seseorang itu baik atau buruk, tengoklah rakan2 sekelilingnya'' and i felt really lucky because i know that i met such wonderful friends that InsyaAllah will never guide me to the wrong path.

I know that i may not be the best friend you guys ever had but insyaAllah i will try to be the ''limited-edition'' kind of friend that no one can replace. Alamak! Mcm a bit cheesy je kan ayt? heheh. : P I really do feel lucky because i have friends around me yg always near by my side going through the ups and downs together because someone else out there may not have such wonderful friends like i do. Of course as a normal person, sape yg x pernah ade misunderstandings kan? It's a normal thing lah because all the fights we had (although we rarely have one :)) yg buat kite makin rapat and help us in strengthen our bonds kan? It's like a cooking process lah, without the salts and sugars, the food we cooked will taste bland lah kan. Ok, merepek da sampai masuk bab masak-memasak....! But, that's the truth kan kwn2? :) Waakhirul-kalam, i wish for the best in everything you guys do n let us strive for the best to be the best among the best ok guys?

Assalamualaikum.... :)

Well, x prnah terfikir nak buat blog kot sebelum ni n this is something new for me people! ;D Mcm2 dok pikir itu ini, x reti nak mnulis lah, mengarang lah, dan segala macam 'me' lagi lah. But, there're always starting points for everything kan? So now, here I am! A small girl trying to fit into the huge world.... ;) i believe that if we keep on doubting, nothing will ever be accomplished lah kan kwn2? Plus, i love to try new things. Experience is the best teacher one could have. So, believe in yourself (like what i did when i decided to blog. Ihik! ;P) n do what you wanna do because you have to believe in yourself first before you can make anyone believe in you. Okay, if i keep on writing, things akan jadi meleret-leret n berjela-jela. Better i stop now before anda yang tgh membaca tu rse cm nk cmpk je your lappy/pc because of keboringan bce this entry. Hehe ; D. Assalamualaikum...
